Photographer’s Note
Here is the second of the trade forts of Ghana that i am uploading for now.
This one is from the small village of Shama just a little east of Sekundi Takoradi.
It was built as a Dutch lodge in 1526 then made into a Portuguese fort in 1590 and Abandoned in 1600. Restored and altered by the Dutch in 1638, finally Ceded to Britain in 1872.
The picture is a scan, i have repaired scratches, and upon advise from danielswalsh i have used neat image to remove some of the noice.

Hi Harry,
An interesting piece of architecture, good POV and framing, and fine color tones... heavy sky adds to the athmosphere.. i wish it was bigger! ;D

That's a really strange architecture. Hard to really understand how it works, but that mystery makes the post worth looking at it. Good pov and important walker to figure out the scale.

Hi Harry,
What an old building you captured with its different architecture. They couldn’t erase its mystic smell even painting it. Wonderfully visible old textures on façade and especially staircase are creating splendid view under dark sky. Visitor is helping to us imagine the scale of your view while adding the life needed for your photo. Congratulations.
Friendly Regards,
Ertugrul

Hi Harry!
So this is another one. What an original shape it has.I see it was connected with our history also. Does it have anything inside to be visiTed? Seems an interesting place. I like the presence of the locals passing in front. You have done a nce work with scanning also.

Hi Harry,
Very beautiful shot, and beautiful series. This one is really curious, the mix of the stone and the white wall is very interesting, and the sky play very well with the scene. I like a lot. In my opinion, there is yet a little of noise in the clouds. I get used for awhile Neat Image. After a time, by suggestion of one TE member, I've noticed about Noiseware Professional, and it's better, because keep best the details in the shot. Anyway, I like a lot the shot. Thanks,
Angel.
