Photographers Note
Another impression of the sunset I saw on the first of february, where I've allready posted photo's from yesterday and two days ago.
It was a marvellous sunset, one like I haven't seen for quite a while. In january there we're many sad days with pale white sky, this time it was very nice. I've been tracking the sky for an hour or more, since the sky was ever changing.
For this photo I walked around my house, and here I've placed the sun in between the pinetrees..
I like the cloudspattern, hence the name of the photo.
Later on the sky turned red, it seemed as if everything was on fire. I've posted how that looks yesterday (same location..)
In the post processing I went for a tight crop, there was nothing much on the left side and I found this quite nice. I hope you can agree.

Hi Emiel,
An unusual cloud formation well presented with well chosen POV to have the sun setting right in the middle of the trees... nice colors and framing

Dear Emiel,
A bold and experimental crop. The frame is appealing.
What is a tight crop? If you please.
Best wishes.

Beautiful sunset colours, nothing dramatic just lovely...
Silhouettes fits well in, adding contrast and punch!

Hi Emiel,
I love the way this vertical frame almost seems to stretch up the framing trees and funnel down those wonderful clouds .. great sunset.

Hoi Emiel,

Hi Emiel!
Your clouds are very beautiful, indeed. I think the scientific name of such formations is Cumulus Undulatus (wave clouds). Sharp and no halo around the branches - good work!

Hi Emiel,
Excellent sunset composition with fantastic colours and lighting. The figures of the clouds on the sky are really wonderful. I also like very much the narrow vertical format. Splendid work!
