Photographer’s Note
If you ever visit the Wendake native reserve in Quebec City, don't miss the Kabir Kouba Falls!
In the native's language Kabir Kouba means "the river of a thousand meanders" or "the snake river".
Situated on the Saint-Charles River, the 28 metres high waterfall sleeps in an impressive canyon where the cliff can reach a great height of 42 metres.
Near the falls you can find a rich plant life and even fossils dating back over 455 million years.
Many Huron-Wendat myths and legends are associated with this site.
It's a magical place!
