Photographer’s Note
In 2006 our family traveled Kiwi style around Europe, one of our first stops was the London Eye, something the kids had their own eyes on for a while. We found that all thru the trip, the more famous things such as this, the Eiffel Tower, tower of Pisa etc made the biggest impact on them plus they enjoyed these things the most, and have good recall. My daughter particulary remembers 'Ed', our guide on the EYE.
This shot was taken against the white London sky, and has not been manipulated other than a slightly tighter crop and an increase in contrast. On first glance it appears B&W but is definately in colour.

i like the angle you shot this at - and your right it does look black and white when looking at the thumbnail --If this was my shot i think i would make it a contrasty black and white or maybe sepia?
cheers

After being on this site for about a week now ... I have seen many images of this EYE and I have to say yours is one of the best i have seen. Very different from the others. I love the angle you shot it at and the blown out sky in the background.
