Photographer’s Note

White geese in migration. Background: Quebec city. Picture taken from the bridge, on my way to the Island.

Please excuse the bad quality of the picture and the tiny dimensions, I have a very cheap digital zoom on my camera, and it was unfortunately impossible for me to swim next to the geese.

In PS: cropping, +saturation, +blue, +levels (I hope it's not too much, my LCD screen doesn't give me an accurate view of the levels: cathodic screens are a bit darker), framing, copyright.

I think it's a great photo. Only two things I really don't appreciate : the frame and the web adress on the bottom, because they both draw my attention to much. Only a question of taste I imagine.

i'll ignore the words at the bottom. now, i've never seen so many birds in one place i mean, cept in books and posters. i looked at the picture and thought they were a swarm of killer bees. i love it! great shot!

Great moment Genevieve! I tried to count them but i get a bit lost here.. ;)) Love the composition with the buildings on the background...the soft colors work very nice too. Good job :)

Très difficile photo en effet Geneviève que de prendre des objets en mouvement. Il fallait montrer la nuée d'oies en migration et non pas un seul groupe en vol. Tu as réussi une bonne composition. Mais tu aurais pu quand même essayer de t'en rapprocher à la nage ;o))

J'aime bien l'image malgré tout ,avec la vue de la ville au fond c'est plutot intéressant , bon cadrage , bien vu .

J'aime bien ton image, elle est belle et bien construite mais moi je trouve dommage de graver du texte sur une si belle photographie. Amicalement/jr
