Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken from the top of the "Torre Guinigi" (Guinigi Tower). On the top of this tower you can find some holm oaks which were planted there after the tower was finished in the 14th century. From the tower you have a beautiful view over Lucca.
Lucca is a neat little town in the Tuscany. It has a very nice and intact old city wall on which you can circle the whole town. Another tourist feature is the roman amphitheatre which is now a cute plaza which is surrounded by many buildings standing in that old oval shape of the theatre. Of course Lucca has also other tourist features but these are my favourites.
In the background of the photo you can see the Apennine Mountains. There you can find Carrara a town which is famous for very good marble. I made another photo where you can see how they cut the marble out of the mointain.

Hi Sven,
Lovely view to this charming Italian town and its red roofs. From this angle the town houses look a bit chaotic as we don't see any space between them.
You also achieved a very good depth of field here.
I'm not so sure about branches on the top of the view - they make nice framing, but perhaps these sharp ends are a bit disturbing.

Hallo Sven,
