Photographer’s Note
This was the very first successful lightning shot I got with my new camera. I waited 2 months for a storm like this. This storm moved in from the north and there was continuous lightning for hours. I don't think the lightning actually struck the chimney in this picture, because it seems like I would have heard a deafening thunder and I didn't. I sharpened the photo a little, and I cropped it. Thanks for looking.

Kevin, very nicely done. While the atmosphere looks like something out of a movie the houses in the foreground give a sense of humanity to it, simple suburbia in the midst of a maelstrom. Nice capture.

Very cool lightning shot. I love these. I just grabbed one last week from my balcony here I will try uploading it soon although it's not near as cool as that.
