Photographer’s Note

When we went to the Citadel up on the Hill looking above the city, you were able to see the whole City at your feet which gave an immense sense of how huge the city is. I liked the way the outlines of the City faded against each other as the were lit up by the sun and concealed by the smog. I liked the way the Minarets from the mosque stand out as otherwise this could be a city scape from anywhere in the world.

interesting cityscape. however i feel that the clarity of the image could be improved to give the details of the nice structure shown here.

There is poetry in your work. I love the tones in this shot. Your POV is really fortunate and the time of day was just right. Not the image we usually have for Cairo. Really nice. Thanks, Diana

Interesting landscape. The old merging with the new. Interesting play of shadow and light.

Good POV and management of light.

Cairo is a beautiful city, one that I have always wanted to visit.

Latifah,
The photo is as impressive as the thumb, quit unusual. It is very difficult with this light to get the effect, I think you got the best ou tof the situation, although the bottom looks a bit too dark and you could try a crop. In your note you used the word 'cityscape', it is not used very often, and I like it very much.
I hope you don't mind I use the ne point smiley, please look at my intro for an explanation.
I hope your art exhibition went well !
