Dolls & puppets... finely crafted from wood are a trademark symbol of the folk culture of India. Ideas are essentially drawn from everyday life, richly coloured clothing of these dolls are hand sewn from satin, silk or even simple cotton fabric. These are used in various puppet shows which are an important mode of entertainment in rural India. This is a must-see once you visit Rajasthan. This particular snap was taken inside Mehrangarh Fort at Jodhpur.
