Photographer’s Note
The Munster in Ulm has the highest church tower in the world... or so says the tourist office. Having climbed it myself, I can say that it is, at the very least, the highest one I've climbed in my life.
The church also boasts some of the nicest gargoyles I've ever seen. I like how this one seems just about to leap into the void.
This was a difficult picture to work with. The light was far from perfect (but that's the only day I had for pictures, so I had to deal with it) and the picture was overexposed. I worked with levels in Photoshop, and did a bit of (hopefully) subtle work on the gargoyle with the dodge and burn tools.

Hello Catherine
I like this Gargouille, 'flying" over the city.
You've chosen a good POV!

Hi Catherine,
very intersting taken of this gargoyles, that on the front sits and watches out for the church.
Good conposition and sharply details.
I want to post it to workshop and make it some brighter.
Thanks for sharing.

Hello...
When I cam upon this picture, I thought you had stolen mine! I've got almost exactly the same shot, taken earlieer this fall. Here's the link to it. http://www.pbase.com/dgimc/image/87391039
I played with mine a little bit more than you have, but I still think you've done a nice capture here. Felicitations!
