This is taken in the meadows of south lake Tahoe in the Sierra mountain range. Lake tahoe(not seen here) Lake Tahoe is the second deepest lake in the United States. Lake Tahoe has lot summer hiking and other outdoor activities, and is a popular destiantion for skiing in the winter. This shot was taken in late summer.

Hi Nick, you got here a wonderful POV to show us the vastity of this area. I love the depth of it and you placed this creek in you composition. It leads us into the scenery very well and lets us wonder what is beyond. Good light management. A circular polarizing filter would have been great here.
