We have barely see the sun for this 3 days trip in Masai Mara. Great as the animals didn't need to hide in the shade and were to be seen the whole day long. Bad for the quality of the light.
It is also the occasion to regret to have a compact and not something with a 200-800mm lens.
Here is the best I could do with the zoom integrated in the camera and the light available. We were lucky that we could approach as close as 20-30 m.
There is water flowing along the line of green trees. It is usually the killing zone where the lions come and get their preys busy drinking.
At the right of the cheetahs, an old and dried carcass.
The guide told us we were really lucky to see 3 cheetahs together.
A safari in Masai Mara is really to do once in a lifetime ! |

Bonsoir Patrice,
It's rather dark and lacks contrast, but I liked the look of this image, and wondered whether a bit of PP could give it more impact.
The light was not in your favour, but it's a very good composition with the three cheetahs posing very nicely.
I have tried a WS for you.
Amicalement,
Peter.
