This was taken in the clinic where I volunteered for a short time during my time in Mexico. This women was among the several who worked in this kitchen who spoke in Nahuatl to each other. The soup they were serving contained more ingredients that I'm used to including an entire chicken foot - "for luck"! If anyone can tell me the name of this type of soup I would appreciate it :)
I've desaturated the colours here, I like it more than fully b&w - but please let me know what you think.. |

Hi Elizabeth,
I like the composition and colors of this photo. It feels like it needs to be a bit sharper though. But well done.

Hello Elisabeth
This photo has a nice daily life feeling to it, but maybe a little bit tight framing?
I just love what you have done with the colours, we rarely see a mix of B&W and colour so this one is a first for me.
It really gives that impression of being an old photo with a lot of story behind it. Ever seen some of the old James Dean movies? They were coloured afterwards and they give the same impression.
Thank you for sharing.

Hi Elizabeth..I like the desaturated colors as well. It gives the picture a more serious look. Very nice composition.
