Photographer’s Note
This photo is taken from a rooftop of Huynh Anh Hotel
(District 1, 26A/2 Ð Do Quang Dau). For 15-20$ a room this was an excellent hotel to stay for couple of nights. On the top floor there was supposed to be a coffe-bar and restaurant, but it was all lights out and dark during our stay in HCMC. However, the doors to the rooftop were wide open and the view from there was magnificent. So we bought a bottle of local apricot-wine from the street and went there to chat with friends and enjoy the view.
Shutter speed for this one was 6 seconds, ISO@200, I had my little tripod with me.
I also played around with zooming in and out and moving the camera around in the end of exposure, so I have many different versions of Saigon by night from that location. However I thought this one fits into the "learning about world" aims better :)
