Photographer’s Note
Well, it was always gonna happen I guess, one minute they're there, and the next minute the crew have all dissappeared under the water. The instructors still afloat are showing some concern for their lost students.
This pic was taken a split second after the first image in Part 1, I had the camera set to take a burst of shots and luckily I got a series of action pics. This was taken at the Whitewater Stadium at Penrith, which was the venue for the kayak/canoe slalom events at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

Hi Steve, very nicely timed shot. You've done a great job of showing the crew underwater while still showing the concern on the faces of their instructors. Very nice exposure. I like it. This is a place I need to check out. I saw it on TV of course when the Olympics were on and I'm a kayaker so I always wanted to see this run. Someday.
