i like the feel in this shot. the black and white makes gives it a sense of the past. there doesn't seem to be a lot of movement either. it could very well be busy but the lighting gives it a serene feeling. well captured..

Hi George, always nice to see a fully dedicated portfolio on Japan such as yours. This harsh mixture of light and shadows gives the scene a real timeless feel which I enjoy. The slight remnants of some smoke in the upper right, and the girl wearing the light coloured jacket who is central in this shot, make for some good points of interest.

Black and white is key here in highlighting the nuances of light, shadow, and smoke. You have rendered it quite beautifully.

GREAT...i really like the use of one colour as the overwhelming tone...and the details are good too...normally anyone (even me) would have gone for a shot capturing both the warm and cool tone...but this is classy...

Molto bella la scelta del bianco e nero che evidenzia l'interesante gioco di luci. Una foto dai contrasti di luci ed ombre ben distribuiti, bello anche il controluce che si staglia sulle figure al centro della scena!
