Photographer’s Note
While photographing alongside the church, this child kept on walking infront of the camera as if he wanted me to include him in the frame. I asked him to sit by the step of this arched door and he gladly agreed. On seeing the image, I noticed his eyes appear closed on 2 shots I took. Not sure if he blinked or was snooping down. Anyway, it seems he's in a contemplative mood.
Shot taken in the Episcopal Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Sagada, Mountain Province
Cropped, channel mixed, levels adjusted and sharpened.

Hi Bem,
This child seem very wise and thoughtful. The choice of B/W is excellent. I like this white door behind the boy. It gives strenght and character to your composition. This is also well framed.
A very good job. Thanks and congratulations.
Best regards

Hi Bem
is a simple photo, but so effective!
The boy is a good part of the photo. Without him, the arch would be plain and almost boring!
Great choice for B&W.
Saludos, Paula.

Hi Bem,
Excellent use of the arch as your frame. The boy gives the viewer a sense of perspective of the door size. Good choice in using B&W for this composition. Well done!
