Photographer’s Note
Las Ramblas again.
The silverskin statue was a performance artist. He didn’t have to stand without moving for a long while, there was always someone, who wanted to be on a photo with him. There is a photo about me with him as well, but because my blond hair, it is very touristic of course.
When this girl went to him, I was happy, because they looked like a couple, inspite neither of them were North Amarican Aborinals,
though I found the artist's idea aboriginal - that is where the title comes.
I croped a bit, framed, and cleaned the pixelation dust with NI.

Nice shot, I wonder how she got his arm like that without him moving. Small point on the note, it's really not on to call North American aboringals 'Indians' or 'Redskins' anymore. That's the language of pre-PC, pre-Leone, Western Movies.

I love the colours in this shot and the details in the headdress is fantsatic. Good composition and capturing their eyes looking away from the camera gives it a more natural feel. Well done

From the thumbnail I though this was a statue, and now that i see it's a person - I like it a lot more. The colors are great.

Extra je m'attendais a voir une vertible statue tellemnt le rendu en petite poste est bon.
Les couleurs sont legerement satturées ce qui donne le teint de la jeune fille trés jolis.
Du bon travail pour moi bravo.

Marcella, it's a great portrait, the contrast between his sotne-like face & her smiling one/ the details of his costume & her simplicity, very well capture of the subject !

Exellent! Really this is great, so surreal and they are both beautiful. The tight cropping is perfect and it's very sharp. I love it.
I'm out of points for today but I'll be back tomorrow.

Marcella
This is a wall hanger!!! Why? The triangugar composition, the repeated triangle in his shoulder/hair, the matching brown of her skin juxtaposed in his head dress and war paint, the silver on his skin and the highlight on her face, his hair lock & her hairlock,
How to maybe improve - watch out cutting -off fingers, like on his hand. I don't mind the cropping of the head dress, but it could have been nice to see the whole of it too.
WELL DONE

A very cool picture Marcie! They both look like many American Natives I have seen as far as their features. You did a good job on the photo. Thanks for your comments on my photos!

Well done, it's a lovely shot. Really nice skin tones and lighting. I agree with the comment about cropping the fingers off. I'm not sure about the hair on her face either, in a way it's nice, less posed, more natural, but in a way it's just a tiny bit distracting.
But you've done a great job of capturing their expressions, he in particular looks very strong, almost regal.
