[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Yesterday I posted a photo of a peace symbol on to of this rock. So just for fun I dug out on old photo of the rock's previous artwark. Made of PVC pipe and papchute cloth, this one wasn't as study as the peace symbol which has been up for 6 months. At the time of this photo, the pterodactyl had been up for two months and was already stating to break up. In fack, most of the other sculptures have been planned as transitory, but the creators of the peace symbol are hoping for more permnance.

In the WS I'll post a picture of the birds' relationship to this sculpture. They're not quite not quite as comfortable as they are with the peace symbol but they're getting bolder.

Very funny photo Pat; I enjoyed the description in the link too. I can imagine the puzzlement of local people when these sculptures appear as if from nowhere.
Thanks for the laugh.

Hi Pat,
Very funny shot, reminds me of the present administeration, teetering on the edge. Looks like a lovely spot.

Boa Tarde Patrícia
This is funny indeed. The ws is very nice too, as we see the real birds better.
Regards,
Francisco.
(Updated; removed note about location).

Funny and curious art work. For sure it does not scare the people in the water, nor the birds on the rock. Well done.
HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Antonio

Hi Pat,
The setting indeed reminded me of your previous. I have nothing agains peace symbols. But this one really looks more funny. The weather looks great and some people seem to have fun with water jets.

LOL! How knows if 120.000 years ago that would have been reality. Did you find a time machine and instead of joining everyone else in 2007 you went back to 117.993 B.C.?
What a wonderful community of artists you are living in, Pat.
:) tomorrow

Hi Pat,
This one is a funny image, with very much sense of the humor, where this reply of pterodactyl seems to call the attention and to attract the curiosity of other birds that they rest on this rock.
I like also the WS.
Regards,
Josep

Hi Pat. Nice photo. I’m surprised the birds would associate with such a monster (or is that monstrosity??). Thanks for the smile.
Cheers, Paul.

Hi Pat
For a second I thought this was a real bird...It's good to have searched your archives to show us the picture of exactly the same place as your previous post. I wonder what the real life birds would be thinking here. Well composed off-centre with the wave in the BG about to break

Hi Pat,
Good for you for posting a fun photograph! I used to take photography too seriously, especially my small paid assignments, and I have made it much more fun now. I love oddball sculptures and artwork that amuse us. I love it!
Stan

Oh, now that is just tacky. It looks like something you'd see in PeeWee Herman's front yard. It does give me a little chuckle though. I guess the peace symbol wasn't so bad after all ;-) Thanks for the link.

Ryan
