I hope everyone had a nice Christmas....I did some first night exercises in Paris' streets...more and better will follow soon...leaving for Vienna tomorrow for a couple of days...hope to be back with lots of nice pics!

That is a good Paris night shot, especialy for this luminous sky that can only be seen in big cities and giving a mood we have not here at the countryside.
Well done for perspective and depth.

Très jolie capture!
Apparemment, l'EOS encaisse bien les vues de nuit!
Bel équilibre de lumières, arrière-plan légèrement fondu.
Je ne critiquerai pas ce point car...je travaille sans trepied!
Vu les circonstances de prise de vue, c'est un bon ballon d'essai, bien vu!

Les tons rouges de cette photo de nuit créent une atmosphère étrange, même si les bâtiments du fond semblent un peu flous (profondeur de champ insuffisante...sans trépied difficile de fermer l'obturateur). Pour une première tentative, le résultat est très bon quand même.

Bonsoir Leonie,
Bon essai pour un premier exercice du soir, pas toujours évident.
Sujet simple mais bien choisi, une bonne lumière et bonne qualité d'image..!
Une très bonne première, on attend les suivantes avec impatience.

Hi Leonie. I like the depth and symmetry. I think the low shooting angle helps enhance the perspective. The noise is nice and low too. Have a good time in Vienna!

Happy New Year Leonie. I hadn't noticed your return, but then I've hardly been around in the last month.

Good sharp night shot, and the right kit for the job. Hell of a lens you got there, must be quite tricky to hold steady on slow shutters.
