Photographer’s Note
A porcupine feeding on pine needles. Was hard to see and kept spiraling around the tree to get away from me. Best shot I could get of him with a digital kodak with no zoom

Wow Alan:
Do I believe that the hoggish porcupine attempted camouflage with the pine, to what does it distance you captured this? In what place was it? in some forest?, is it common to see this type of animals over there? I have never seen one, it is interesting, I believe that some animals think that they are not photogenic or for some reason they don't like that we come closer to them with a photographic camera, I have a wild duck as mascot in house and every time that you do me with the camera he/she moves away from my or it leaves running. Cordial greetings. Take care a lot, happy Sunday. *Ninfa Urania*
