Photographer’s Note

I will be submitting some photos from Sevilla to show the beauty of this city and its traditions (especially after having beaten el Depor 4:0 and finishing 2006 as the leader of la primera, etc...).

This is a photo from la Feria de Abril - a festival which I described in my previous post:
http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Europe/Spain/photo530504.htm

These two girls in typical dress "Traje de Flamenca" dance a typical dance from Andalucia region called Sevillanas, which can be described as simplier version of flamenco (even though official sources state that it is not 100% true).

As they were dancing I couldn't use a tripod but wanted to capture the movement without losing the beautiful slim curves of the dancers. Bit of experimenting and in the end shot this one with 1/2 sec.
