Photographer’s Note

On the way from the Telegraphic to Lac Blanc we stopped off at this little refuge. Summers gone and all I'm left with is memories of the best holiday of my life with the people who matter most to me. Clear sunny days, very high up and my youngest daughter eating snow with the biggest grin at having found something so cold on such a sunny summers day.

Hi, Ben. I like your composition with the nice wooden structure of the hut and the reflection of the mountains in the window panes. The wood texture is very well rendered.

I like the weather beaten textures of the wood, we find exactly the same in mountain areas in Norway too...
