Very fine capture you done Joergen of that fine Castle Egeskov - You beaten me on my home ground ;-) - Perhaps you should add:

Egeskov means "Oak forest" and its build around 1500 (as far as I remember).
The story goes - It got the name be course a whole forest of oak trees was used for piling, when it was build in the middle of a lake.

In fact the water level in the lake very important - if the oak foundation are exposed to air it will rotten in a few years.

Beautiful castle and very nicely captured. I like the reflextion on the blue water where as in the sky, warm and cold tones oppose each other. A really beautiful castle and a fine shot.

It's a great picture. The terracotta colours of the castle compliment the sky blue and the blue from the water. Its very earthy castle that blends well with the surroundings. I also like the fact that I can see the whole reflection of the castle in the lake. I would like to learn more about this castle...

Beautiful compocition, good light - contrast and color in the photo, good reflextion.

It is one of the most beutiful castel in Denmark, and there is a lot to se fore the hole family.

Hi Joergen.
A fantastic castle which evocates kings and legends. How old is it ? The note should tell more about it. Nice colours, nice reflections. Perhaps should you have made it a bit less centered (both vertically and horizontally). A brilliant picture anyway !
