Travels on the Silk Road:
A baker in Masouleh uses a widespread and classical technique of baking by attaching the sticky loafs to the hot insides of an oven. Masouleh (=Mazuleh) is a mountain village in the Gilan province at the Caspian sea. The mountain chain around the southern shores of the Caspian sea collects the moisture from the air. The often rainy weather allows for lush forests and intensive agriculture. Inhabitants from Teheran spend their holidays here.
The slide was scanned, the pic brightned and saturated. Enjoy!

Hi Dietrich,
As a bread maker in home I like bread related photos a lot. Here you transferred a special caught while they’re working. But I would like to listen taste of breads too. They are cooking bread in tandoori oven build from adobe/clay. Congratulations. I wish you a very good week end.
Best Regards,
Ertugrul

Great shot Dear Dietrich. I like a lot the expressions on the faces and the nice atmosphere of the bakery. The whites seem a little too saturated to me but overall the composition and the mood in the shot is perfect.
