I know, I know - if you've seen one deer photo, you've seen them all, but I wanted to add this shot to my North Dakota series. Thanks for looking.

I took this photo during a visit to the North Dakota Badlands at Theodore Roosevelt National Park.

Nikkor 300/4.0 with monopod on Fujicolor 800 print.

Hi there,

Nice catch, fine colours and good sharpness. Indeed the deer seems a bit curious, nice expression. Good isolation, the DOF works very fine too.
Well done. I haven't seen to much deer shots, so there you go ;)

I can't say I have seen too many deer shots. This fellow looks very inquisitive doesnt he? I would have liked to see some detail in the eyes, nose and ear areas.
