Photographer’s Note
Tarabya ( a part of Bosporus ) was where I took this picture.
On this particular day I met Berek-a very kind and honest man. (please check his photos) he drove us around Bosporus and it proved to be prosperous, Berek parked the car in one of many places that day, however on this particular stop it wasnt possible to leave the car, so i said I will be 5 minutes.....more like 10 minutes...because I was shouted at by a fisherman, I think he was telling me to take a photo of him, but I am not a hundred percent sure, so the lady on the right of my photo was trying to explain in her language what he was trying to say, but it wasnt any good, so she grabbed all of her kids, maybe not hers I am not sure and lined up for me to take photos of them as a group, they wer very sweet although the language barrier was diffiult, we could communicate in body language and I thanked them and they waved and thanked me too. I did show them their picture before I left and they were laughing and pleased with the result.
Later I showed Berek the picture of my Turkish family and he was amazed that it only took 10 minutes and I had 3 kids.
I guess whenever some one travels, one should at least know some of the basic words of the country visited, for example Hello and Thankyou. That always puts a smile to the local people.
I hope you like it

That's what I was thinking. A great moment captured in the lives of a growing family.
Maybe one day when they are older, they will look back at this photo and see how they have changed.

Hi Dan. Nice photo of the friendly family posing for you in front of the marina. An engaging and uplifting sight that brings a smile on the viewer's face. Good storytelling in your notes, as usual.

Bonjour Dan,

Hi Dan
Nice daily life shot of your adopted family from Turkey, or did they adopt you? The youngest looks a little unsure. A pleasant harbourside backdrop. Wonderful Fall colours & mood. Tfs!
