Photographer’s Note
Daily life in the suburb of Hwajeong (30 minutes north of Seoul in South Korea). Located in Ilsan, this is the street I lived and worked on for 1 year while teaching English.
It was a fun neighborhood to live in with: McDonalds, KFC, Starbucks, Walmart, Lotte Mart, restaurants, billards rooms, taekwondo clubs, pc rooms, a cinema and many restaurants all on this street alone.
This is a typical early morning scene and is quite a representative depiction of Korean suburbia.
