Well because its raining out I thought it might be time to start looking back to this summer and perhaps review some of the best photos I took this year. I would have to confess that Garibaldi Lake really impressed me. I do plan on returning next summer to hike more into this park for a deeper discovery. Enjoy!

Well drat Trek and their size limits, eh? But you did a really nice job post-processing, it looks beautifully clear and the colors are just smashing. It was 7/2, btw, but what's a day or two. I like that I can look at this and feel the air!

Beautiful view of this amazing lake, the mountains covered by snow give your shot a nice depth. Colors and sharpness are very good. Many details in your large version.
Have a nice week.

Hi Paul. This is weird. I just critiqued Norbert's panorama with my last critique and now I'm doing yours! Is it safe to say you used a polarizer here? The color balance is excellent. Hey this place impresses me too, lol! Superb shot Paul!!

Can't argue with the fact that I should see this for myself. The calmness in your picture is soothing. Good shot!

Hello Paul. Definitely a place I would love to v isit someday. Beautiful scenery with the island on the foreground and the snowy peaks in the distance. When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was Spirit Island in Jasper. Excellent colors and good use of light in the composition. TFS.

Nice work on this one, the deep, rich blues are nice, and the touch of shoreline on the right side allows for better depth and context. The composition seems a little bit too centered, though, and much of the left third isn't doing very much. Perhaps you could crop as much as 1/4 of the frame from the left for a more harmonic composition, which would pull into the background mountain from both the right and left.

This would be so beautiful hanging in a gallery. The colors are wonderful, and I agree the scenery is impressive, so clear and clean looking. Another masterpiece!

Hello Paul -
A rich blue sky, wonderful reflections, and a slight breeze - what more could you ask for? This a very nice image and one to be proud of. The mountain on the right looks like a reclining head notice the dark eye just below the main summit? Excellent image, well done!
Thank you for sharing

Is that one of the battleship islands? What ever it is, it looks beautiful! The panorama of lake, trees and mountains is very harmonious and well balanced. I like the long, horizontal framing you used, which suits the subject perfectly. Excellent!

What a beautiful place this, absolutely fascinating with those reflections of the snow peaks in the calm water of the lake. The panoramic version is nicely done.
