Old Twins

Straying around London I crossed Tower Bridge and was heading back to London Bridge when I passed a shopping mall. In there I found these two old twins standing just apart in a corner illuminated by the lantern above them.

Hello Wolf Dieter,

Your photo of the pair of old telephone booths is a classic! I am curious about whether such booths have survived in light of the proliferation of mobile phones. I am a university professor, and I see my students engaging in cell-phone conversation ten seconds after they've left my class. The bright red of the telephone booths, and the illuminated interior of the cabins adds a touch of intrigue to the photo.
