Granville Street Bridge, as seen looking across False Creek. The birdge passes right over Granville Island, which is a very popular market and art centre. Formerly an industrial area, the old buildings have been converted to art galleries, stores, and an art school. Not all of the industry has left the island either, because there is still a machine shop and a cement factory there, which really lends an authentic feel to the place.

Hi Alvin, Another great shot - I especially like the colors and the POV but find it abit busy with the boats, the bridge truss system, and even buildings in the distant background. TFS. Gerald

Hi Alvin. This is another great shot of this bridge. What a soft light you had. I again love the flags on the top and the repetition they bring. Well done Alvin!

You captured this picture with an excellent angle, we are able to see this beautiful sky and at the same time the impressive bridge with the marina. Good reflection. Very good composition.

Hi Alvin. I remember walking across this bridge going to Granville Island, visiting the market there, and then returning to downtown Vancouver by water taxi. This photo is a well-made vertical photo in which the reflections are well utilized to strengthen the graphical aspect that is offered by the bridge elements and the boat details. The red tonality of the light on the clouds adds a pleasant moody aspect.

Very nice colors, but I love mainly the geometric structure designed by the bridge and its reflection. It frames the city, and at the same time it's framed by the light and color of the sunset, in sky and in the water. It's really beautiful, a very pleasure for the eyes and the soul! Thanks. Best wishes,

The silhouetted bridge and it's reflection look so good with that beautiful sunset as a backdrop. Great compo. The colors look perfect.

The exposure level is well chosen here, just light enough to catch the fine reflections. I also like the generous component of water here under these shooting conditions. The vertical format is apropos, there is good depth, and one can discern the tall buildings silhouetted in the distance. Well captured.

I like spectacular color and reflection and your vertical frame that already created with excellent POV. The reflections are standing like centered but not because the pier, I liked a lot. Congratulations. I wish you a very good week.

After being on the move constantly I think I 'll be at home until the end of the year now.
It explains why I could spare little time to TE . And missed a lot of good pictures such as this one. You mastered the light and the diagonal gives a good boost to the picture. Even the big buildings are well placed under the arch.
Best - Izzet
