Photographer’s Note
It was impossible to get the obelisk not overexposed, so I took another picture 2 stops darker (f/5.6) and digitally copy and paste the obelisk on this picture. Not too bad if you don't look too close.

A very pretty shot, I like the saturation of the colors and the slowed effect on the water. Was there any external lighting (flash), or was this naturally lit by the surrounding lights?

Nicely done. Good idea with the obelisk, it turned out very well. The exposure is very good.

Really impressive. I like the colours of the fiuntain very much: the green and yellow(ish) in the central part and the soft tones of the circle. Strangely enough, the water that is fixed by the exposure gives some life to your photograph. The obelisk, trhe Eiffel Tower and all the lights in the backgound justify Paris' reputation as 'ville lumière'.
Though I'm not a fan of postprocessing I appreciate your craftsmanship in the pasting of the obelisk. A very good job.

Très belle image avec une exposition bien contrôlée et des détails d'une très bonne netteté. L'image est également exempte de bruit ce qui ne gâche pas le plaisir des yeux!

Very interesting and artistic work. The two expositions-technique has been described by several authors but I had not seen any such work before. Well done. Congratulations ..

La fontaine est bien exposee, les details bons et l'eau montre son mouvement.

Very nice shot! I Agree with the others in saying that what you have done with the obelisk has really worked well.

Wonderful colors, great effects. I wouldn't change a thing. I don't know if it is noticeable at higher resolutions, but, at it is, obelisk is absolutely well embodied to picture.

Wonderfully smooth photo of the fountain. The colours are beautiful and the detail is shown so well. As for the obelisk? I think I'd just leave it out - for me, the fountain is a good enough subject on its own.

C'ast fantastique !!!!
This is the limit of my written French. Tried the same fron a different angle
http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Europe/France/North/Ile-de-France/Paris/photo51579.htm
but was bothered by over exposure every time I tried to get some more light .
Very very well done, I wouldn't try to bring in the obelisque, I find the fountain very beautiful by itself.
