Photographer’s Note

The park "William height" in my homeland Kassel is uniquely beautiful. It is the largest mountain park of Europe. From the castle William height out one has a wonderful view of a part of the park. Above at the mountain the Herkules is to be seen. In the late autumn the discoloured park works as abandoned. Only some people are on the way. They go past at the ponds, temples, to the orangerie, the Aquaeduct or visit the famous picture gallery in the castle.
In the year 2007 the world art exhibition for contemporary art, the DOCUMENTA takes place in Kassel.

Wolfgang,
I like your composition, the path leads the eye through the photo up to the castle very nicely. You have good color and lighting with nice sharpness.
I wish you could have brought out the blue in the sky more(just a little overexposed), but it is still a very nice photo.

Hello Wolfgang,
This is an extremely good composition. I like how the three buildings lead the eye in a diagonal from right to left across the frame. Whilst on the other side there is the broad sweep of the grass with the path meandering towards the top. Colours of the trees are beautiful and contrast well with the green grass. Very good sharpness as well.

eine schoene aufnahme mit einer durchdachten bildaufteilung ! die drei hauptobjekte sind gut aufgeteil und die tatsache dass dieser serpentinenartige weg hoch zur burg fuehrt wertet das bild nochmals auf ! toll

a really pleasant sight. The peaceful emptyness is making me want to have a picnic there. There are really beautiful colors here. Sky a bit OE, but its just barely.
