This hike and Huyana Picchu made me laugh. The sign posted at the gate said it was a relatively short hike. It was a killer (but well worth it) uphill grind! No wonder the Inkas retreated to here, who would have chased them! Scarey stairs, no guards keep you on high alert!

Hi Catherine
You have captured these steps really well using a great composition and POV. The steps seem to lead to nowhere other than the vast valley beyond them. It could be slightly larger but it doesnt bother me.

Welcome to TrekEarth, with regards

Roberto

Hi Catherine,

That is a real scary staircase. Nice capture.

This guy has been in the same place in the exact same location.

Thanks for sharing.

Kind regards,
Hans

Hello Catherine,
Welcome to TE. This is a very nicely composed image with good use of depth of field. Very good detail in the stones and nearby vegetation and nice soft lighting. It could do with being bigger (you are allowed up to a maximum of 800 pixels on the longest side) and explanatory note would have been nice. Still very good for all that. Well done.

Hi Cathy!
What an interesting sight! A note about that would be nice. Also, the photo could be bigger.
Definitely not a sight for a person with heights fear.
Regards,
Seb
