Photographer’s Note

Viterbo was the hearth of Catholic religion from 1257 to 1281, dued to the military and politic crisis of the papal state. there was war between guelfi and ghibellini, and Rome was not enought sure for the pope Alessandro IV, and followers.

This fountain must be of the same pariod also if i'm not totally sure. but if we see those lions heads, with anthropomophs caracteristics, and the form of the fountain, we can be already sure.
