Photographer’s Note

This is an ortodox church of "Hilandar" monastery on Agion Oros, Greece. Eastern part of this church was built by king Milutin in 1302. on foundation of much older church (that older church was built by St. Sava and his father St. Simeon in 1198.- same time when "Hilandar" monastery was founded).
King's Milutin church was rebuilt two more times, last time in 1380. (or so, I'm not sure) by knez Lazar. Because of him, that last added part of church is called "Lazareva priprata (Lazar's nartex").
Anyway, this object is one of the most representative churches built in Byzantine style.
