Many people across six countries live along the Mekong river, depending on the river either for economic or physiological sustenance.
In this photo, a fisherman ends his day in the river, which is quite shallow as this is the dry season. The photo is taken in Vientiane, the Laotian side of the river, looking over to Thailand. Standing there, one can't help but be overwhelmed by what beauty nature has to offer - it's indeed a bright end to the day. |
