Photographer’s Note
Photo from Tokyo Downtown.
A road side bar with BARBQ is grilled on fire. Glasses of Overflowing Draft beer. & freak out atmosphere.
You can see the real color of life here.

An nice downtown photograph. The blur creates an unusual impression on the viewer.

Man is this good or what?! What a dramatic ghost! What a blur! This is you moving into another type of image here Shail, more mystical, more abstract. I see delnaja made this a favorite, and he loves those blurs, as do I so I had to chime in.

oh, this is so good! this is extremely moody, this could have been taken everywhere in the world but not everyone could do this, obviously;
love these extremes in contrast and grain, love this work here;

Intriguing shot, Shail, daring, gutsy. Atmospherically it is very rich and certainly has a lot to offer the senses...
COmpositionally I still think it is incomplete, perhaps I have too simple a view of composition. I would like to hear Luko's view on this for example...
The basic problem still goes back to the 20mm view on a film cam, and how you have not fully come to grips with its demands and capabilities (you'd do great stuff at 35 or even 28 and with greater ease IMHO).
Still I salute the mood which is incredibly thick and pungent.
Your friend,
Francis

going to agree with Francis on this one, shot with potential but incomplete, the main area of the image is good, the right side spoils the mood, the guy walking is simply too boring, foreground is also empty, need something here to add a punch and balance the image. I think it would have been much better if you were much closer, again with 20mm closer means you would be licking sake off your lens. I admire you for sticking to your guns and working with this lens, I know it would have been too difficult for me in most cases.

my faithful friend, Shailendra,
I can only watch with anticiopation, whilst you venture down this black and white path which I know zilch about.
I am checking in sporadically, and I know you will take it lightly when I say that nothing has grabbed me YET! I will let you know when it does....
p.s. Whats the plan for India??
