Photographer’s Note
The University of Texas at Austin, home to more than 50,000 students, a Gutenberg Bible, and a Texas Longhorn named Bevo, honors its graduates by illuminating the main building with bright burnt orange light. The tower, as most call it, was built in the mid 1930’s and rises 307 feet above the university campus. A 56 bell Carillon, the largest in Texas, still treats students and visitors to beautiful music three days a week.
P.S. work includes cropping, and increased contrast and saturation to offset scanning.
