[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
At the end of the Looe pier where the seas occasionally engulfs(it would seem), sits this life preserver which on this day was perfectly reflected from yesterdays high tide. This area of the pier is a prime place for watching the day pass as the sea crashes on the rocks below.

Hello James,
Très bel effet de miroitement au couleurs douces à part les trois éléments rouges, c'est une bonne composition.

Hello James. Funny title. nice composition with excellent colours. great work. well done.

Well spotted.
Lovely perfect reflection, it's a shame rivers and lakes aren't that still for us, eh?
Interesting to see a demonstration of how water absorbs a stop of light.

bonjour James,
j'aime beaucoup cette image, le reflet est parfait. Les éléments rouges ressortent bien distinctement du bleu/gris, très bien vu.

Hi, it looks like you had cleaner water for your reflection shot than I did. :) Actually in your picture the reflection looks better than the real scene in a way. I think that the texture and darkness of the bottom of the pool add an interesting texture and coloring to the reflection of the sky.

Nice work! Thanks for sharing!

Bonsoir james,
Sujet simple mais qui donne un superbe résultat, le ciel est plus joli et saturé dans la réflexion.
J'aime bien l'angle de prise de vue.
Beau Travail.
Amitiés Joseph

This one is cool.
The water where the sky is reflected on is so calm, and thanks to that the reflection is well detailed, very sharp. Well seen and good capture! Focus is fine. Colours are nice, the red life preserver adds extra colour and another welcome subject to the shot. Nice pattern in the sky, lucky with that:)

Hello James!
Very artistic shot. It´s like feeling the sea breeze. I like especially the sky and its reflexion in the water. Smart POV and very colourful.
Cheers, Andreas

Hi James,

I read your comment given to John where you had asked him to comment on your reflection shot. I do not know about John but, I saw it and it was worth seeing.

"What good photographer can do to a otherwise ordinary scene!", was my instant reaction! Very well composed. Perfect sharpness. TFS.

Cheers,
Hemant

This reminds me of a cool exhibit I went to at the Saatchi & Saatchi gallery in London in '92 where you walked down a plank in a room and when you looked over the edge you saw a reflaction of yourself, and the plank & ceiling- the bottom of the room was filled with hundreds of gallons of oil! Cool shot.

James,
Great shot here!
Amazing reflection with good sharpness and details. Beautiful light and colours.
Well done!
Cristian
