Photographer’s Note
Nellie Creek Falls, Colorado
Fall comes early to Colorado but this year (2003) fall lasted into October before the winds, rain, and snow knocked the leaves down. This image was captured late on a sunny fall afternoon - a light breeze was blowing and there was wood smoke in the air. On the way up to this fall we ran into a small cattle drive as the rancher and his cowboys were moving the last of his herd down to the trucks for transport to winter pastures.

Hello John
This is really a beautiful nature shot, the slight colours of autumn are nicely rendered.
Another good part is the river/creek that seems to lead the view into the photo.
Only thing I have to complain about is the lack of depth in this photo, I feel the photo is very flat. I'm guessing a bit smaller f-stop would do the trick.

Hi John, A very beautiful photo with lovely colour & great lighting, the depth is wonderful, however what i think you have done very well is set you own frame (excellent i should say) around the naturel frameing of the trees, kind regards Wilson.
