Photographer’s Note
This is a picture of The Orangutan House in Melacca. Its actually a local clothing store selling print T-shirts by local designers.
The Orangutan House was set up in 1992 as the studio-gallery of Charles CHAM after his return from France. It was one of the first artist studios in Malacca. With its unique façade, it is now a landmark and a must-see for all art lovers and tourists to Malacca. It houses the contemporary Yin and Yang paintings by Charles CHAM and his collection of art t-shirts.
It is a very interesting building and hence would like to share it with you all. I included some parts of the building in the foreground as coincidentally it is a fruit store and has a fruits signboard outside. Well I suppose the Orangutan like the Fruits :).

A interesting capture of the mural on the shop wall in Melaka. Must have been something new as I never saw it when I was there last. This shot looks like it was underexposed by one stop but nevertheless you have managed to keep the saturation of the colors. Without your notes I would say the building on the left was a distraction but after reading your notes, its alright. TFS Andre

I love this house in Melaka, it sells really kewl clothings. The "Orang Utan" is basically the brand itself.
Nice capture of a nice iconic location in Melaka.
