[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Earlier section of the Osterfelderkopf-Kreuzeck-Parnachalm-Parnachklamm trail. I had only used the simple trail map supplied free by the tourist office in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The map is not very useful after this point. The trail wasn't well marked. Whenever I found one it was a faded round red circle.

When I reached Parnachklamm (a beautiful gorge) it was already dark and raining for any picture taking. From here I walked back to Garmisch-Partenkichen via the ski stadium. I would consider this as one of the best full day hikes I have taken in my life probably because of the diverse terrain and landscape. From desolate mountain & lake to beautiful meadows,farmland & forest.

Great mountains .. I think that big foreground outcrop makes the shot .. it balances it and sets the sense of depth and scale.
