Photographer’s Note
Emerald Lake is located about 10km N off of the trans canada highway in British Columbia. The turn off is about 3km west of a tiny town called Field, which is about 30km west of Lake Louise.
This lake is truly spectular and sports a wonderful lodge with minimal cabins for summer stay.
Thsi image is the result of two merged images... hence the mismatch in blues in the bottom RH corner.

Great lake, and you have perfect light and still water for the reflection. A pity about the streak in the water; otherwise perfect, and it is still gorgeous.

Stunning Rande. Can't say anything else. Don't you just love the Pacific Northwest? (or North south in our case :) )

Hi Rande,
these reflections are great. I´ve been at Emerald Lake, too. Did you stand on the wooden brigde which leads to the hotel on the island? Very good POV, sharpness and composition.
Best regards, Björn
