Photographer’s Note
Island port at Burg on the Baltic Island of Fehmarn. One of my favourite fishing boats the Kehrheim (Return_Home) is in port just waiting for the next day charter, with me and my sons as well as 15 other people.
In the background is one of the grain silos and pumps for the yearly grain harvest and export. This is the only other commercial use of the harbor besides the decimated fisher fleet.
.... an 8 hour day 10 miles offshore, on the Kehrheim, with my sons and friends.... good weather and cold beer.... fishing rod and camera....
Doesn't get much better !
