[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Beech tree in Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire.Once upon a time Sherwood Forest was a 100,000 acre wood and pasture that surrounded Nottingham in the 13th century.Sherwood Forest was inextricably linked with Robin Hood, the outlaw who is popularly thought to have been born in Locksley c1160.
The forest today is well visited by people of all ages who want to enjoy a walk in the woodland. There is a visitors centre which sells bows and arrows, which many children buy and enjoy pretending to be Robin.

Hi Jean, I'm surprised you haven't had any points for this. It's a nice study in colours and textures. Well done for opening up the aperture to get a good depth of field. TFS, Colin.

Hello Jean,
Your photo of this beautiful beech tree deserves more than two points. Even though it has some very minor technical flaws is is still a beautiful photograph. I love it! A great job on your photographer's note as well. I can't figure out why some of the TE members don't post any notes and then wonder why no one responds.
Best regards,
Stan
