I have found paradise on Xi Beach which is close to Fiskardo, Kefalonia. The waters are very shallow in comparison to the rest of the island and the sand is orange with desert growth. You can find big piecies of argil which is very good for body and face masks! The beach is very long but most of the tourists (especially foreigners) sit in the organised piece of the beach which is over-crowded. If you walk about 10' there are 2-3 bays where you can be all by yourself even in August! Now, I shouldn't have told that, should I? :)
