Hello Jeff.
Quiet, et at the same time a pale and dramatic scene.
The use of light and colour in this photo is fantastic.
Proportions of the sky and water is perfect.
There seems to be fog in the photo, to the left side. Was this actual fog or did you use a long shutter time to get some wave motion?
Also one last thing... What on earth is that black "thing" in the horizon?

HI Jeff,
I'm waiting for my sigam 10-20 - so your picture increases ny excitement... I like the low POV, and the perfect colors. BTW don't you have any problems with the vignetting with this wide angle lens?
Thanks for sharing and congrats,
Miklós

Hi Jeff,
Beautiful colors in that sky, amazing. You mention that you spent much time in the pp, could you post the original image as a workshop just to see how much of this great image is pp job? It would be very useful for guys like me discovering the digital and pp world.
Best,
Daniel

Salut Jeff
Superbe image avec ligne d'horizon très centré qui sépare le ciel de la terre donnant l’impression d'un triangle.
Très bon travail

Hi Jeff,
Excellent colours and textures in this image. Full of mood.
I find the inlet/outlet thing on the horizon a bit distracting, becuase it looks like big blocky pixels and therefore like some sort of digital problem with the image.
Otherwise really nice, long exposure shot.
Cheers

Wow Jeff, very impressive shot. The colours are just superb. I love the way the colours of the sky are reflecting off the rocks in the foreground. The misty effect over the sea looks fantastic. Excellent, congratulations, well done. Thank you so much for sharing.
Cheers,
Debbie

Mmmm reminds me of something from Dante. I love the darkness and this photo shows the beauty of nature at its best.
It also makes me a little homesick as well.

great colors and details. not too sure about the comp. i think you should have shot this vertically and included more of the foreground so as to get the horizon off of the center of the image.

How beautiful! I like the pov and to be honest the comp. There's a path of light not only on the ground, but in the sky as well, all leading to the power station. I like it. It helps it's off centre too. I'm ashamed to say having lived in Bristol for several years now... I never realised that the channel was so spectacular. But maybe it's just your photos? If you don't mind me asking... how long was your exposure?
