Photographer’s Note
When Kev and I noticed this window and stopped to make an image or two the whole street seemed to tune in. Lots more people stopped to take photos after that. Including a woman who stopped to chat who was also wearing a Dalmatian like coat.....neither of us photographed her!
If this were in the Red Light District........what on earth would it be advertising.....but this was in a main shopping area. When I saw the photograph later it revealed more to me than I honestly saw at the time - the effect of the 'Damask' Lace and the range of people and their expressions in the background. Look for the man with legs wrapped around his head and the one who appears to be sucking a toe!

Hola Frances: ˇI love this photo! Illussions and reality in the very same single frame. What would this dalmatians dogs think? The texture of the curtain gives the reality an extra visual treatment that I love. Thanks for share. Take care.

Yes, Frances, it's a very funny shot, with really many possibilities of interpretation. The shop window is really fantastic, these "womens" capturing the men with their legs, it's a wonderful idea! And the dogs! I like the strong reflections, that show us two worlds really mixed. I like a lot! Thanks,
Angel.

An exquisite juxtaposition of the window display and the reflections of the street, creating a new and temnporary reality and maybe literally providig the imagery this display tries to conjure up for the ones passing by. But what got these dogs got to do with it?? Very nicely captured this Frances!
Have a fine weekend,
Bert

Hello Frances, so nice to "meet" you, have just noticed you have been uploading! Iwould love to comment on this one now as I am also drawn to weird reflections. Yours is infinitely funny with the toe-sucker! :-) But more than that, it is very lovely with the layers you have achieved to show: the damask lace, the passersby, the mannequins' seductive legs.
Welcome to TE!
take care,
sasa
