[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The trail to East Observation Point in Zion NP starts at the Weeping Wall. About a mile and a half into the hike and a thousand or so feet up, the trail takes a break in its climb to go through the lower portion of Echo Canyon. This is one of my favorite spots in Zion. During the spring, the runoff will fill this canyon with a flow of water that can make this part of the hike hazardous. In the fall, as shown here, the stream bed is usually dry.

Hi Allan
Impressive photo of this very beautifull place..
Fantastic colours of the "walls" rocks and formations, perfect DOF and POV, as the sharpness.
I would like to see it more bigger..

Amazing place and great shot! Interesting colours and texture of the rocks; the bushes in autumnal yellow liven the river bed up.

The colours in the cliff walls are superb Allan as is the sharpness of your photo. Hard to imagine the canyon with water rushing down. Thank you for sharing.
Cheers,
Debbie

Nice nice detail on the colorful rock surface.

Hi Allan!
Impressive spot indeed. I like the perspective and the colors as well. It must be interesting to shot the same place full of water !
Well done Allan.
Best regards.

Hi Allan
Great detail, looks like a great place to visit.
Cheers

Wow! It almost looks like a painting. The colors and lighting look fabulous. Great composition.
Gary

Good textures and colours in your shot. The green of the trees brings it to life.TFS, regards Jean

Hello,
The coloration you've captured is sensational -- evocative of the painters in the Luminous school in 19th century American Art. Just fabulous light and exposure, Bulent
